Connect on the Quest: Air Quality

A monthly virtual speakers series sharing Green Schools Quest project stories and resources to support schools in their green schools endeavors. 

The December 14th Connect on the Quest will focus on air quality. After hearing brief updates from two schools on their Green Schools Quest projects, we'll learn about resources to support outdoor and indoor air quality.

PRESENTERS

  • Leah Clyburn, Missouri Sierra Club will acquaint attendees with local air quality concerns, actions underway, and resources including recent studies on the health impact of poor air quality and opportunities to advocate for cleaner air.
  • Susannah Fuchs, St. Louis Regional Clean Air Project will share air pollution reduction resources and ideas for schools including info on acquiring free no idling signs.
  • Anisa Heming, USGBC Center for Green Schools will introduce new IAQ resources that the Center for Green Schools has developed to help people without a technical background understand details about indoor air quality (IAQ) so that they can make important decisions for their schools.
  • Two Green Schools Quest school Presenters (TBD)
