Join us as we pave the way to IMPACT 2021 with thought provoking and original virtual sessions!

Since August 2020 to now, the USGBC community is featuring four programs from across our region on the road to IMPACT 2021. The August 20, 2020 program included: Renewable Materials in Sustainable Building Products. November 17, 2020: Our one and only St. Louis Soldiers Memorial Military Museum's Case for LEED & TRUE, with USGBC-Missouri Gateway Chapter Board of Directors Chair, Angela Moore! December 10, 2020: Wgema Campus - Forest County Potowatomi Policy and Historic Preservation Next up: IMPACT 2021!

The Battle Between Budget and Well-Being

Vinoth Sekar, PMP, CEM, WELL AP, LEED AP BD+C, and Project Manager at Willdan will explore the intersection between budgets, human health and energy conservation. Sekar will share a sensitivity analysis showing the impact of energy efficiency strategies on occupant comfort and well-being for multiple building types across climate zones. He will also discuss budget impacts and best practices from different building rating systems for a range of building types and how they impact occupant comfort, well-being and energy efficiency.
